It began as a simple self-introduction — “Mimi ndio Sifuna” (I am Sifuna) — Senator Edwin Sifuna's signature declaration at public forums. A man unafraid to stand alone.
When the political establishment tried to silence him, the people transformed it into a collective rallying cry: Sisi Ndio Sifuna — We Are Sifuna. An attack on one became an attack on all.
The slogan went viral on TikTok, X, and WhatsApp. Youth visited his office with branded merchandise. It became the heartbeat of the Linda Mwananchi (Protect the Citizen) movement — a generational shift from tribal politics to merit-based leadership.
