From Nairobi's Streets to the Senate — and Beyond
Edwin Sifuna grew up in Nairobi, witnessing firsthand the inequality, corruption, and ethnic divisions that have held Kenya back for decades. These experiences shaped a man determined to change the system from within.
After studying law and becoming a respected constitutional lawyer, Sifuna chose the path of public service over private gain. His firebrand oratory and fearless stance against corruption made him a household name across Kenya.
As Nairobi Senator, he has championed bills on public accountability, youth employment, and women's rights. He is known for standing with ordinary Kenyans — matatu drivers, market traders, university students — against a system rigged in favor of the elite.
In 2026, when the political establishment tried to silence him by ousting him as ODM Secretary General, the people transformed his personal declaration “Mimi ndio Sifuna” into the collective rallying cry “Sisi Ndio Sifuna” — We Are Sifuna. The Linda Mwananchi movement was born, sweeping through every county with rallies demanding accountability and merit-based governance.
Now, Senator Sifuna is ready to take this fight to State House. His vision: a Kenya where your talent matters more than your tribe, where public resources serve the public, and where every young person has a real shot at a dignified life.
